Prince Alexander's Fairy Tale

Sprookje Schild.png

It is 2100. The sea level has risen 1 meter and there are more and more heavy downpour. The Queen will go to great lengths to preserve the site and protect its citizens. Her son, Prince Alexander, doesn't feel like it anymore, he wants to flee from the threat and does not believe that the polder can be saved.

As a visitor you get to hear the stories of residents before the performance. This way, during an audio tour, you see the neighborhood through their eyes. Once you arrive at the NOA Pavilion, you must choose: fight or flight?

The Powerboat Foundation created this performance in collaboration with journalist and writer Dore van Duivenbode. The performance starts with an audio tour through the district, which ends at the NOA pavilion where visitors meet a number of characters from the audio tour in person. The tour is based on stories from residents about their past, their present and the possible future in the neighbourhood.
